Little Fish...

The kids had their last swimming lesson for the summer...wow, that went by fast! I don't really have any "action" pictures since I was only there for the end of each session. I stayed at the first lesson and they spent the whole time saying "Mom, did you see that?" I decided they would pay better attention to Jaclyn, their instructor (that would be her...the very tan one, man are my kids pale) if I wasn't there. So, I got shots of them looking for the weighted bars at the bottom of the pool that they had to dive down to get...real exciting pic's.

Note for all of our southern friends that white fence in the background is actually the boards for the outdoor ice rink...'cause in Minnesota it just doesn't pay to take them down. Summer's not that long.

Wet Dog...

The Frisbee dog took it to the water...

For some dogs wet just isn't a good look...such is the case with our dog.

And then comes the shake...Oh, you want to see a picture of that do ya? Just how dumb do you think I am? By the way that was a rhetorical question. I saw it coming and I took off...well, I couldn't really go too far, I was on a dock after all. All that fur makes for a lot of shake and these two can attest to that.
In the end she always ends up here...such a daddy's girl!

Vacation 2008

Here are some vacation photos for you...I'm a little slow, but what else is new? Special thanks to my Aunt and Uncle for the use of their cabin...we had an awesome time!

Here are some highlights from vacation 2008:


*The kids fished for the first time...Sam caught weeds.

*Jenna made a new friend.

*Chayley went "swimming" for the first time...not a good look, I'll share more on that in another post.

*My Sister and Dad have some mysterious mental telepathy that makes playing board games with them very annoying...Baked Beans to All (don't ask).

*The States and Capitals edition of Sequence is harder than it looks...don't mock me, you try it!

*The fishing was not good (reference Sam's weed catch in first highlight)...so, technically that would be a lowlight, sorry.

*Rick grew a beard and there is apparently no picture of it...say what?

*Sam showed us how good he is at Basketball...we're pricing hoops!

*One hundred and fifty sunset-on-the-lake photos...okay, that may be just a slight exageration by only by a few...

Hey...long time no see!

"Mom, the roller coaster was the best ride EVER!"...Is it just me but, that is not what I'm getting from this picture!

Note: DO NOT get a cake with blue or red icing...just trust me.

We are back from vacation up north...it was great and I have a bunch of pictures to go through. In the mean time here are a couple of pictures from the kids birthday at Como Park Zoo. I'll post vacation pictures as soon as I finish "correcting" them (I love Photoshop!).
