"MY" Camera
Maybe it's just end of summer boredom but, there are two munchkins in my house that have become obsessed with MY camera. We have pictures of every part of our house and yard, including dust bunnies, dirty dishes and laundry. Seriously, who needs a picture of laundry? not me, that's for sure! Now, as self portraits go this one isn't too bad and trust me we have many to compare it to.
There are of course the "artsy" pictures like this one of cherry tomatoes...was it supposed to be focused or not? That's the beauty of "artsy" shots, you just don't know.
Here's a shot of the other twin taking a picture with MY other camera...ah, come on!
By the way the tv show in the background I'm pretty sure was "Phineas and Ferb". Why would I think that? Because it was on ALL SUMMER! I'll be humming that theme song till Christmas...and that is not a good thing.
Now this is quite the creative shot! One should always have a shot of the bottom of your dogs paw.
This is the gnome that guards our yard. Well, not really, he's broken so, he's just kind of sad and not very useful. Do gnomes have a useful purpose? Maybe it's just to freak out the dog...that's always fun. Why, you may ask, do we keep a "broken" gnome? As my hubby would be happy to tell you it's because I can't throw anything away. Actually I can, but I just like the little guy.
We have numerous shots of Sam's feet, that is apparently his favorite subject...wow, he has big feet.
Well, that's it from the Rame art gallery, I have to go charge some cameras...hope you enjoyed the show.

Missed me????
I recently realized that I missed blogging so, I'm going to try really, really hard to keep up...I promise! It's been kind of a crazy summer and I'm sad that it's almost over. We are starting to get a little goofy around here (yes, I know, so what else is new?). Nobody wanted to go outside because it's super humid and we're sick of it, sick of it, I tell you! So, we played with the camera on the computer...it killed time. Enjoy!
I have no idea why this is mirror image...rather annoying, I'd say! |

Hey! Wait a minute....
Here's a riddle for you...if you could have one super hero power what would it be??? Sure, flying would be nice or even super human strength could come in handy. Ooohh and the ability to make laundry and dishes done instantly with the snap of a finger...oh, wait that's not really a super power, but it should be! Me? I would freeze time, not forever but, just long enough to make the special times and the simple moments last just a little bit longer. Think about it, wouldn't it be nice to have more time to say goodbye to a loved one that God is calling home or to make that sunny summer day stick around a few more minutes??? But, really I thought about the wonder of that power when I stumbled upon this picture the other day...

Hmmmm....what do you think??
Me: "Sam, I think you should grow your hair out and wear it long" Sam: "No, I think it should be short...I need a haircut" Me: "Oh, come on it'll be cute...promise" Sam: "No, I need to go to Kids Hair...it should be really short" Me: "Pleeeeaaaase???" Sam: "Oh, alright" Does anyone else think we got our roles reversed???? He really needs to realize how lucky he is to have a mom like me. Seriously, how cute was he in that picture????? I bet he tells the lady at Kids Hair that he wants it short and she does it because why would any mother in her right mind not agree with that???? I haven't been in my right mind for years.... If you have an opinion on this subject please feel free to leave a comment, unless you agree with Sam ;-)
